About artbyphoenix

I have been an artist as far back as I can remember. I'm mostly interested in watercolor painting landscapes, and recently focused a new energy towards painting portraits in watercolor and acrylics and drawing figure-studies. I love nature and want to put the wisdom into my paintings from what I've learned through my experiences of life, and still project my love of the natural environment and people. I've practiced Nichiren Buddhism for eleven years, which is the basis for my personal growth, and continuing focus on the natural world.
